Shooting Submenu

The Shooting submenu controls how Cosmic Lite helps with your jumpers using Rhythm with SQ/X and Stick Auto Tempo.
Both features can be used together or individually, depending on your preference.

Rhythm with SQ/X

Rhythm with SQ/X replaces a standard button tap with a Rhythm Shot input, then uses your configured Tempo to help with the release.

  • Type: Toggle (ON/OFF)
  • Input:
    • PS: SQUARE
    • Xbox: X

What It Does

  • When enabled, your SQUARE/X button is remapped to perform a Right Stick Down motion to start a Rhythm Shot.
  • As you release the button, the script uses your Tempo Standing value from the Settings submenu to automatically push the Right Stick up for you.
  • This is not an Autogreen feature — you still must time your release correctly.
  • Rhythm Shooting gives roughly a ~60% larger green window, making badly-timed releases much more forgiving.

Tips

  • Rhythm Shooting uses its own release cue, not the exact cue from your Jumpshot Creator.
  • Expect to spend a bit of time in MyCourt practicing:
  • Rhythm with SQ/X can be used:
    • By itself, for simple rhythm-based shooting.
    • Together with Stick Auto Tempo, if you like both button-based and stick-based options available.

Stick Auto Tempo (Right Stick)

Stick Auto Tempo is the Right Stick version of the tempo assist — especially useful for more advanced shot types.

  • Type: Toggle (ON/OFF)
  • Input: Right Stick RS

What It Does

  • When enabled, releasing the Right Stick during a shot will cause the script to automatically push RS up or down for you, depending on the type of shot and based on your configured Tempo.
  • Functionally, it behaves similarly to Rhythm with SQ/X, but triggered by Right Stick RS movement instead of a button.
  • This is especially useful for:
    • Post Fades
    • Moving Stepbacks
    • Hop Jumpers
    • Other advanced stick-based shot types

Tips

  • Use Stick Auto Tempo ON, even if Rhythm with SQ/X is OFF, if you prefer stick-heavy shot creation.
