Stick Auto Tempo¶
Stick Auto Tempo Modes¶
Controls how the script assists your Right Stick (RS) release timing.
Modes:
- OFF – No stick automation
- DOWN (NORM) – Automates RS Down releases
- UP (FADE) – Automates RS Up releases
- ALL – Automates both Up and Down based on your input
How It Works¶
Similar to Rhythm with Button, Stick Auto Tempo automatically flicks your RS up or down after you release it, using your Tempo values to time the shot for you.
- If you select DOWN or UP, the script will only tempo the opposite direction if you are holding the selected side.
This prevents unwanted reach animations on defense when holding hands-up.
When to Use It¶
Stick Auto Tempo is useful for:
- Turbo Fades (RS Up)
- Post Fades
- Moving Stepbacks
- Hop Jumpers
L2/LT Behavior¶
Moves that require holding L2/LT (Post Fades, Post Hop Shots, etc.) must follow this rule:
- Release
L2/LTbefore shooting - OR disable the L2 Killswitch (see below)
Defensive Quick Toggle¶
On defense, you can toggle this feature quickly:
- PlayStation:
R2+SHARE - Xbox:
RT+VIEW
This helps avoid random reach animations when holding hands-up defense.
Stick Dunking With This Feature¶
If Stick Auto Tempo is ON, you can:
- Flick UP then DOWN (classic method),
or - Map Dunk to a dribble combo or remapped button using other script features.
Tempo Values¶
Tempo Stick Down
Default: 40 ms
Controls the tempo for RS Down shots.
Tempo Fading Up
Default: 80 ms
Controls the tempo for RS Up shots (fades).
Tempo No Dip
Default: 36 ms
Controls tempo for catch-and-shoot no-dip shots while holding L2/LT.
Tempo Adjustments¶
These values control the timing of the stick down → stick up (or vice-versa) motion.
If your feedback consistently shows Slightly ___:
- Slightly Fast: Increase your Tempo
- Slightly Slow: Decrease your Tempo
Adjustment controls:
- DPAD LEFT/RIGHT: ±4 to 8 ms
- DPAD UP/DOWN: ±1 ms
For precise measurements, follow the Practice and Values Guide.
Threshold Settings¶
Threshold Low & Threshold High
Defaults: 280 – 2200
These values define the window where the script detects that you are shooting with the Right Stick.
- Increasing the Low threshold can help with moves such as Rari Slides.
- Be careful: setting it too high may prevent quick shots from being recognized as Rhythm Shots.
L2 Killswitch¶
Default: ON
- When ON: Holding
L2disables Rhythm Shooting (prevents unintended shots). - When OFF: You can Rhythm Shoot while holding
L2, useful for: - No-Dip shots
- Post Fades
The tempo used depends on stick direction (Up or Down).
